Common problems…?

The most common problems that both Airflow / Airmass Meters have, are poor driveability and lack of power. With a lot of vehicle owners with turbo vehicles complaining of no turbo boost, and the vehicle struggling to go up hills and not possessing the same amount of power as you would expect from the vehicle. Certainly on the later Airmass Meters, like the picture above, this has become a very common problem for most applications of vehicles anywhere after 30-50k miles, this is why it’s pointless buying a used part, as the chances are that it will fail soon after you have replaced it. The only answer is to buy either exchange or a new one.

What do we offer…?

Lynx Automotive quite possibly hold the most extensive stock in the country of both airflow and airmass meters. On the older style Airflow Meter with the metal flap we supply a lot of exchange / remanufactured parts but also have access to new at a substantial saving to your local dealer if there required. On the later Airmass Meters, like the picture above, we are now supplying a large amount of these each day, we keep several thousand Airmass meters in stock, and in the unlikely event of us not having your required part number in stock, we can usually supply you with it, within a few days. We don’t just supply the more common Airmass Meters, we also stock more unusual manufactures like Hitachi, Pierburg, Hella ect… as well as having a large amount of BOSCH Airmass Meters. For all items that are available from stock, and that are ordered before a sensible time during the day, we send them out for a next day delivery by special delivery this usually means you see the part the following day before 12.00.
